Denise Conroy is a multi-disciplinary artist and freelance illustrator based in Tipperary, Ireland.

Working primarily by hand with traditional materials of pen, ink, and paper, Denise aims to create expansive and engaging visual narratives of this wild and mythic world.

Conroy draws on a rich cultural commons of folklore, mythology, storytelling, and landscape, to weave in-depth research, intricate detailing, and a deep sense of place throughout each project.
With a moniker inspired by the concept of Votive offerings, their work is an act of devotion and reverence for the natural world. An offering - through careful observation and delicate rendering - to invoke curiosity, connection, and kinship with this wild world.

Denise’s art practice spans studio and exhibition work, editorial work with the publication Airmid’s Journal, and collaborative commission work.
